March 23rd 2008 - The Invitation of Pain to Completion
I am amazed that Easter week is already here. I think many of us are caught by surprise at how early Easter is. No matter when it this holiday appears on the calendar, there is something powerful and life giving to it. As you celebrate this holiday, what is your most memorable Easter? When did Easter have the greatest impact in your life? What is the impact of Easter on your life today?
We have great plans to add to your Easter Celebration. Tonight is the Maundy Thursday service beginning at 7 pm. This service is designed to begin your Easter holiday with a focus upon the Last Supper where Jesus Christ directed His disciples.
Sunday morning at 10:30 we have planned a passionate service fully focused upon the Cross. We have constructed a huge cross for this service. Afterwards, weather permitting; we are planning an Easter Egg Hunt out doors.
Sunday, after church my family is going to Ft. Walton Beach Florida for the week. I am definitely thinking beach. Actually…all of the Leadership council and their families will be in the gulf at differing locations.
This Sunday, I am finishing our current series and focusing the Invitation of Pain is to Completion. It is through Jesus Christ that we are completed, which means to be made whole, finished, beautifully and wonderfully made.
