Jesus Christ.

Through Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit and the direction of the Word, we are purposed to be servants.
Markers of a servant leader.
- The two great commandments direct us to love God and others as yourself.
- Places the needs of others above our needs – is others focused.
- Treats each person with dignity and respect because they are created by God and therefore, has value and worth.
- Is honest to others about their needs; and coaches and helps them to meet them.
- Helps others develop and use their own unique gifts and talents.
- Begins by serving individuals and then chooses to lead by serving groups.
Motive of a servant leader Gal. 5:13-14; Eph. 6:7-8; 1 Peter 5:2-4,
A servant loves others by willingly and wholeheartedly serving them from a motive of eagerness and passion to serve God in everything they do.
