2007 Crosswinds Sermon Series' January 7 - Here We Go! - Successfully making the journey of faith together. Objective:  To lead this body together to decide and to successfully make this life journey fully empowered and engaged by faith. Pastor Mark is going to lead us on the journey of faith that God is empowering and anointing him too.  His passion is to lead us to run with God on this journey and to intently and absolutely turn our faith loose. February 18 - Tzedekah  ze·da·kye Objective: Our objective is Life Application and Action. This teaching is titled and based upon the Hebrew word, tzedekah, which calls individuals to righteousness, which casts vision and directive for us to live righteously, rightly combined in our thoughts, actions and words.  This teaching focuses to combine our thoughts, actions and words creating 1 powerful response to do the right thing by living out the teachings of Jesus Christ in Matthew 5-7. June 17 - C3 + O3 = 1 C3 + O3 = 1, is in a sense the new math, for the follower of Jesus Christ. The equation means C3 (Crosswinds Community Church) + O3 (Our One Objective) = 1 (Perfection). In mathematics, the numeral one is the only constant number in perfect numbers. This series, from Philippians, will build from the truth that perfection is attainable to us through Jesus Christ. The truth of the word, perfection, means wholeness and completeness; and is our one objective. This series will work to combine the strength of this church with the power of our one objective to unleash the full potential in each one of us to find wholeness. We are preparing to focus upon the power of specific Greek words and those Truths that are defined for us who believe. Together we are navigating this journey of faith with these authentic keys found in the New Testament Book of Philippians. August 5 - Let's Roll We remember the phrase "Let's roll" when Todd Beamer spoke these words on that tragic flight over taken by terrorists now known as 9-11.  Todd had confidence because he had faith and understood the battle. Objective:  This series is focused upon giving us confidence in the battle of spiritual warfare, by giving us the right mindset and the tools of warfare. September 16 - Moving From Sex to Sexuality Objective: A Sexual Revolution is designed to teach to a healthy Godly sexual foundation, to expand this teaching to the small groups and then to create a 10 day intentional and targeted teaching regarding key sexual issues within today's culture.
