What an amazing break! I am so incredibly thankful for it. I t has been very filling and extremely rewarding. I have enjoyed 2 weeks of family vacation and 2 weeks of sabbatical. I have enjoyed worshipping with you each Sunday. Shelley and Bill did a great job teaching the series the teaching team had designed. I am so very thankful for team leadership.
I am thankful that I went into this year’s summer break, feeling and believing very confidently that we are right where God wants us, as a church; and that I am right where God wants me, personally. I didn’t go into this year’s break exhausted, a bit wound up, but not exhausted.
I am excited to teach again. I am anticipating much as we move into fall and into our next season of where God is leading us.
This weekend we are beginning a new series titled… Let’s Roll
We remember the phrase “Let’s roll” when Todd Beamer spoke these words on that tragic flight over taken by terrorists now known as 9-11. Todd had confidence because he had faith and understood the battle. My call is to lead us to find focus and confidence in the battle of spiritual warfare. I am working to teach to a right mindset and to train us in the tools of warfare.
