Did you have a bully in your life growing up? I have had a few myself. I remember one whose name was Mike. In grade school, he was a serious bully. He antagonized, threatened others and was mean. He had 2-3 brothers that were the same way. Everyone stayed away from him. I can remember wanting to stay away believing that I would not respond appropriately. Actually I would like to paint a picture that it was because I was so tough. In truth, I was scared.
Anyway, this one day, he was antagonizing me and something snapped. I remember just laying into him. I freaked him out and myself as well. I remember that he was all of a sudden balling like a baby. Wow, that bully was really no bully at all.
I did finally respond to him, but in actuality, it wasn’t the way that God would have really wanted. In the teaching this weekend we are looking at the truth that God created us to respond to one another with healthy decisions and actions. This is a very significant teaching to help us move from sex to sexuality. Be sure to keep talking about those questions you have.
