Half Time has differing meaning for the players and the spectators in sports. For the spectators it can mean food, festivities and conversation with those around them. For the players it means a time to regroup. I played football when I was younger and can remember some times of encouragement and times of challenge and hard conversations.
I’ve heard the stories of famous football coaches who would begin the new year holding a football, and would say “gentlemen this is a football.” Sometimes when his team was playing poorly, he would bring the football into the locker room and would hold up the football, reminding the players, “this is a football. Gentlemen you are playing this game today to win.”
This weekend we take time in our own Half Time to Take Time Out For Clarity. We are stopping to pause and to take time out to regroup and to focus.
I am calling you of all ages to intently commit to give everything you have to the finish of this series. This is huge. It is vital in order to go the distance that we fully understand, believe and live in our full identity in Jesus Christ.
Join us right now, via this web cast, as we move from sex to sexuality!
