Pastor Appreciation Month! I enjoy getting your notes of encouragement. You encourage me greatly.
Last weekend Jill and I taught based upon the analogy of football. What we know about football is that it takes a team. I am so thankful for the team of leaders around me that together are pastors. Each Leadership Council member, serving in the role of elder, is a pastor. Shelley Bauer and Brad Houchin, in their roles, are pastors. Each of the Community Group Leaders, both husband and wife and the leadership of the single adult group are pastors.
I want to intently ask you. Will you plan today to shower all of your pastors with love, encouragement, support and partnership? This makes a huge positive impact in the lives of your pastors.
Paul writes in Romans 1:12 that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.
He encourages us in Romans 15:5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus. We need to hear these words form you.
Your pastors value the depth of Ephesians 6:22 that we may know how you are, and that we may encourage you. So please plan today to shower all of your pastors with love.
This weekend we are focusing on the truth that God Created Intimacy. He created us to be fully known and accepted for who I am. We have heard your questions and have worked very hard to keep bringing clarity. I think you will find this during this message
I am calling you of all ages to intently commit to give everything you have to the finish of this series. This is huge. It is vital in order to go the distance that we fully understand, believe and live in our full identity in Jesus Christ.
Join us right now, via this web cast, as we move from sex to sexuality!
Shelley Bauer, Our Lead Pastor, taught this message October 28, 2007.
