Tzedekah (ze·da·kye) - Accepting and Living Our Influence!
Friends, get in a quiet place and listen to this message, Conflict! making the right decision to settle matters quickly. Our Senior Pastor, Mark Savage taught this message February 25, 2007. May it give you clarity to our ability to live making the right decision to live righteously on this journey?
Last year, a friend of mine and I took our sons to witness a man in Peoria, who would share truths about Jesus Christ through his personal strength. This man would tear metal license plates in half, entire packs of playing cards (52) in half, break blocks of wood, piled blocks of concrete, and ice. I was amazed at his strength and power.
I found myself wondering, could I do that? I was quick to reply, nahhh!! We can find ourselves asking the very same questions when it comes to relationships. Can I really do it? I have found one dynamic that is consistent with relationships and that is CONFLICT. When it comes to conflict, some of us work to power up like this power lifter. Power like that doesn’t resolve conflict. Some of us run from conflict. Running doesn’t resolve conflict. So what do we do?
Jesus Christ teaches us the truths of the personal damage that takes place, when we hold on to hurts, which further become fueled by anger. Join us as we hear this teaching found in Matthew 5: 21-26.
As you prepare for this teaching, ask the Holy Spirit to ready you for you to experience Him. I am bringing a Word of hope that will challenge you live making the right decision to settle matters quickly.
